New Course: ActiveCampaign

It’s my favorite Thursday of the month: new course Thursday! This month we’ve got a truly awesome one for you: ActiveCampaign!

Here at Food Blogger Pro we talk a lot about how important it is to build an email list. Having an email list means you have the ability to speak directly to your readers – they stay engaged better, they hear from you more often, and they feel a connection with you and your brand.

However, as Barry Moore from talked about in a recent podcast episode, not all of your subscribers want or need to hear the same message at the same time. This is especially true if you are wanting to sell something to your list, contact a specific group of people about a potential project, or simply send timed emails out in an autoresponder.

Using one of the traditional email service providers such as MailChimp or Aweber can be fairly limiting in this respect. Those services are really great to start out with, but as your email list grows you might find yourself wanting more out of your ESP.

Enter -> ActiveCampaign. ActiveCampaign is an extremely powerful and robust email marketing system that allows you to send the right message to the right person at the right time. This is achieved through complex systems of tagging and autoresponders.

Just like it sounds, ActiveCampaign can be a bit confusing to get started with. Fortunately, Barry has agreed to jump on a teach a course about using ActiveCampaign to Food Blogger Pro members!

The course is super in-depth and teaches you everything you need to know about using ActiveCampaign. It’s definitely a must-watch if you decide to move your email list.

In the intro video to the course, I talk a bit about who should be thinking about moving their email list over to ActiveCampaign. It’s definitely not necessary for everyone, so give that video a quick watch.

If you do decide that ActiveCampaign is for you, then head on over to our Deals & Discounts page to find out how to get a discount on your ActiveCampaign membership.
