Hey hey, friend!

This month was an exciting one at FBP HQ. Why? Because we published not one…but two new courses for you!

Well, newish. We refreshed two older courses: Google Analytics and Caching!

As I’m sure you’re aware, the internet changes constantly. That means our courses about blogging tools, software, and sites get out-of-date every once in a while.

We’re so excited to be updating some of those old courses to make them more helpful and current. smile

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is the standard when it comes to collecting data on your blog. Information about your pageviews, popular posts, referrers, and more can be found in this handy tool, but the information can get difficult to unpack and understand.

That’s where this course comes in! You’ll learn how to:

  • Add your tracking code to your site
  • Ignore logged in users and anonymize IP addresses
  • Find your most popular posts
  • Compare data from current and previous time periods
  • Create custom campaign URLs
  • Create goals and learn about conversions
  • And so much more!

Caching with WP Rocket

We know that site speed is important for reader retention and site usability, and one of the easiest ways to make your blog faster is by setting up caching.

I know that might sound intimidating, but there’s a plugin called WP Rocket that makes it super simple to set up. Raquel’s new Caching with WP Rocket course covers:

  • What caching is and why it’s important
  • How to test site speed
  • How to install and activate WP Rocket
  • The settings you want to turn on to increase your site speed
  • The difference WP Rocket made on our site speed
  • And so much more!
